About Bellafrida.

I am an international sugar flower artist, educator, and founder of Bella Sugar Craft, a luxury sugar flower studio based in Wayne, Pennsylvania on the Main Line.

​

What began as a fascination with elegant wedding cakes and delicate petals evolved into a lifelong dedication to botanical sugar artistry. Today, I create handcrafted sugar flowers that transform cakes into refined, couture centerpieces — and I mentor creatives who aspire to do the same at the highest level.

​

My journey began with curiosity and quickly became a pursuit of excellence. I pursued formal training in the art of sugarcraft in Switzerland and Germany, immersing myself in botanical realism, precision techniques, and the discipline required to master fine sugar floristry.

​

Alongside my artistic education, I hold an MBA in International Business, which gives me a strategic and global perspective that shapes both my brand and my teaching philosophy. I believe creativity flourishes when supported by structure, confidence, and professional clarity. This balance of artistry and business insight is woven into every workshop, masterclass, and mentorship experience.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching across Europe and Africa, guiding hundreds of students as they refine their technique, elevate their standards, and grow in confidence. My work bridges continents — and today, I bring that international experience to the greater Philadelphia and Main Line community through Bella Sugar Craft.

My expertise includes botanical gum paste flowers, Korean buttercream flowers, wafer paper florals, Russian zefir marshmallow flowers, and specialty couture techniques — always approached with precision, elegance, and intention.
